Anyone else wanna kick me while I'm down? Seriously, today would be the day to do it.
Why is it that guys have to get away from things to solve problems? I once heard some shrink-lady on Oprah say that the difference between men and women is that when they find themselves in a "life sucks" situation, women tend to surround themselves with good people, while men generally go off on their own.
If some things aren't right in your life, why would you get rid of the things that are right in your life? Or, if you aren't happy with your life overall, wouldn't you want to seek out and hold onto things that were in your life when you were happy? I don't get it.
"It's out of my hands" is a bunch of bullshit.
I just graduated from one of the top schools in the nation. My education from the past four years alone is apparently worth over $120,000. I am well-versed, well-groomed, generally polite, and I don't smell bad. What more do HR departments want?
My room is an absolute mess right now and I have no desire to clean it.
I miss my roommates terribly. I certainly didn't appreciate them enough while we lived together.
I tend to get cold very easily, but not lately. I've found myself sweating very easily, taking off sweaters rather than putting them on, turning up fans and air-conditionings, and just generally being hot. I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that my heart has been racing for the past several days?
They say the key to happiness in life is to have low (or no) expectations. Unfortunately, once you've mastered said concept, you find that things start going really well, thus leading you to have high expectations until life crushes you back down to size. It's like a big "Hahahahaa...NO!... fuck you!"
I only curse, especially in blog-world, when I'm upset.
A month ago, life was perfect.
It's funny how you remember the little moments with people, rather than the big stuff.
I love it when I catch somebody using a phrase or term that I use a lot... and the whatnot.
