I have found that during finals time I get more work done than at any other time of the year. Of course, very little of this work has any relevance with my courses, which proves problematic, but on the upside I get weeks worth of chores and errands accomplished in a matter of hours. I actually read this for a class way back in freshman year, and it was actually a comment made in one of my classes today that made me think of it, but I assure you this article is interesting in its own right, and need not have any academic merit to persuade you to read it.
