Firenze

Buon Giorno from Florence!

Gosh I love this city! The history, the sights, the people, the men, the food, the food, the food. Did I mention the gelato and spaghetti?
If you've never been here, you certainly don't have your priorities straight (or is it crooked?) in life. Honestly, it's just such a relaxing rush (if that's possible) to be in such a beautiful city. I highly recommend getting here as soon as possible...

And when you come stay at Hotel Medici. Yes, that's right Freedom Tour-ers, I decided to return to Hotel Medici, except this time I'm actually staying at the hotel. For those of you who don't know, Hotel Medici is a two-star, very reasonably priced, quaint little hotel in the heart of Florence. While the actual hotel itself isn't much to write home about, the view from the rooftop terrace is something worth gushing over. I can't imagine a more spectacular view of Florence, much less of any city. Located right next to the Duomo, the terrace view is...well...quite literally breathtaking. I have pictures taken from this terrace that are better than any postcard I've come across.

Anyhoot, during our travels (especially on the planes, trains, and automobiles) I have many "life insights" if you will, or at the very least random thoughts (the latter being far more close to the truth) of which I will hopefully remember and write about when I'm not at a keyboard that likes to place a "à" every time I want an apostrophe. It's really rather annoying. So ciao for now! I'm off to imbibe in more gelato.
