Andy Signing Off

Well, it’s been a lot of fun being the guest blogger for Wahoo And Then Some… over the last week or less. So here goes nothing for the last time.

- Kudos to Lance for winning his seventh and last Tour de France. Anyone else think that he’s really kidding himself into thinking that this is his last Tour? I honestly can’t imagine seeing someone else riding down Champs-Elysees in yellow other than him. My guess is the Tour de Lance will be back before the decade is out. Nonetheless, congratulations to him for going out on top!

- For anyone looking for a good song, I have fallen in love with Am I Wrong by Brand New. I know I heard this song a year or two ago at some point, but I like it so much more this time.

- I have a minor obsession when it comes to buying DVD’s. I own over one hundred right now, and I don’t usually go a week without buying at least one, sometimes more. I look for good deal on them and trying and be money-smart, but if I really want a particular DVD, nothing is really going to stop me from buying it. Therefore, my strongly suggested movie of the week/day/whatever is Elephant, by Gus Van Sant. I won’t say much about the movie, except that if you were in high school or thereabout when Columbine occurred, this movie will strike a chord with you. Everyone I know who has seen it has had some strong feeling towards it, not a movie to just feel nothing about.

- And for some stranger news, in Australia, a nineteen year old got his nose bitten off after an argument about the quality of the movie Sin City. I must say, while I thought the movie was borderline brilliant, I think it’s really hard to get your nose bitten off by someone. I mean, they would have to be within 2 inches of your face. Tough luck, but at least it’s a good excuse for a reason to get a nose job.

That’s it from me, Em will be back for the next blog. If you want to hear more of me and my opinions, just tell me to start my own blog (questioning if there would/will be enough interest). It’s been fun. ~Andy
