Ken came to visit this weekend. I had an absolutely fantastic time. We didn't do anything too special other than eat delicious food, watch a few movies, hang around, and go to the beach for a bit, but it was such a perfect weekend. And it went by way too fast.... but I'm still glowing.

In fact, I just got back from dropping Ken off at the airport, and yet I'll be returning there in about 12 hours to fly to Aruba for the week (don't get too jealous - it's a business trip, and yes, I'll be working for most of it).
That is, of course, if Wilma decides to let me fly out tomorrow morning. It's looking like I shouldn't have too much of a problem, as she's slowing down (from her already snail pace of 5 mph) and will probably hit much further south, but they seem to know very little about this storm, so the next 12 hours are anyone's guess. Another day, another hurricane. And 42 days left in hurricane season.

In other news...
- Ken's considering a makeover to win back Barbie. In case you're not up on your Ken & Barbie gossip, Barbie left Ken about a year ago to go off to California and hookup with Blaine. Apparently that was all one big PR stunt, and now that TomKat have stolen the spotlight with their new baby on the way (gross!),
Barbie can consider returning to her Ken.
- Furby's are back for Round 2 and are predicted to be one of the hot sellers for this year's Christmas season. Are kids toys these days really that lame???
