
I love Denise Austin and her pilates. Seriously. Lately I've gotten back into the kick of working out on a somewhat regular basis (read: when I'm in town and not too horribly lazy), which is including a short run (about a mile and a half these days) and twenty-four delightful minutes with Denise Austin. My favorite part is when we're still into the easy stuff and she is encouraging me with her ever-so soothing voice "that's it - you can do it. beautiful." Those seven words of encouragement make my day. Granted some of her other lines, "strong bodies, strong minds", are a bit cheesy, but usually when that kind of nonsense gets said I'm in some weird pose trying to concentrate on breathing and balance. Anyhoot, I highly recommend you give her a whirl. At the end of any day, good or bad, Denise Austin is fantastic pick-me-up.
