MTV turns 25 today. Crazy, I know. Lil' bit of well-known trivia: "Video Killed the Radio Star" was the first music video shown on MTV. Anyhoot, so there's been a little bit of buzz about this relatively newsworthy (Boy George doing court-ordered community service is listed under CNN's Top News Stories - Surely, the media outlet that arguably is the single most influential source of information on today's teen and 20-something culture turning 25 years old tops that, no?) event, but nothing from MTV.
Visiting MTV.com I'd thought that'd at least be their little flash intro. But no, nothing except a tiny "25 years yearbook" hidden away on their front page. So my question is this: is 25 too old for MTV? Is this when the mega-media starts lying about its age?

P.S. Happy birthday to my wonderful Daddy! He may be older than 25 but he doesn't act a day over 7.
