perspective

my college roommates just got engaged. of course, they're close to the cute couple ever so that's charming and lovely and i'm ridiculously happy for them.

of course, it does put my life in perspective... the notion that they will have 2.3 kids, a white picket fence, and a golden retriever long before i can commit to a 4th date with anyone is a bit troublesome, but whatever...
