on the one hand, my movers arrived to pick up my stuff at 12:21am (yes, that's right...arrived after midnight) last night and they didn't leave until 3:52am. of course they were supposed to be here at 4pm and didn't bother to call or anything to say they might be, oh, 8 hours late. (in case you're wondering, they were coming from the north but somehow went about 4 hours too far south -- aka orlando -- before realizing a mistake and then getting all sorts of turned around trying to get back up.)but on the other hand, apparently they're forgoing all crazy rules that state they can only drive 500 miles in a day and are expecting to arrive up in Chicago sometime tonight. but of course, they'll wait around for me to get up there to unload my stuff. and i didn't expect them to show up until wednesday.
not sure how irate i should be about last night's middle of the night move. thoughts anyone?
