yes, virginia, ninjas are cool

i have long regarded msn.com to be the most mind-blowing site on the internet. not so much in worthwhile content, but perhaps the opposite. the amount of totally worthless crap that gets posted all the time on msn is truly impressive. 10 guys getaways, playground safety tips, tips on how to make money on virtual real estate... and that's just a sample from what's currently posted.

today's cake winner, however, is the link "Are ninjas cool again?" which in turn leads you to a 1100+ word article entitled "The State of the Ninja" by a one Grady Hendrix. first off, i can't believe this is up for debate. were ninjas ever not cool? but second and more important, 1100+ words?! dedicated to the topic of ninjas? presumably not written by an 8 year old? omg -- i'm about to combust lewis black style.

dearest Grady Hendrix, if I ever invent a time machine you'll be at the top of my list of people to invite aboard so you can get back the hours you invested into researching and writing this article.
