state of ridiculousness

dear state of illinois,

what better way is there to welcome your new residences than by making it virtually impossible to transfer license/car registration nonsense. or rather it's not virtually impossible, but the hoops one has to jump through are a bit absurd. and there's really a law that i have to have my driver's license match my car registration address? seriously? you can't handle any form of a reasonable database system? oh heavens forbid. if florida can get it right and make it easy, one would think illinois might be able to do so, but i'm sorely disappointed.
