8 things about me...

1. it irks me to no end when people project what a dog is "saying" or "thinking". to do so seems moronic, inane, egotistical, perhaps even sadistic at times. but i do it myself too.
   
2. i look forward to fridays because they mean free bagels (from my apt building) and the wsj crossword puzzles. the coming of the weekend is just a bonus. if the above two events happened on wednesdays, i most look forward to the mid-week.
   
3. i just polished off a 3 brownie ice cream sundae. complete with hot fudge sauce. and i wasn't particularly hungry. bored with a sweet tooth. thank heavens i run.
4. there is a special place in hell for those i call "tour de francers" aka the bikers along the lake shore path who fly by as if they're competing side by side with lance. let me tell you buddy, nobody's impressed by your vo2 max.
5. i think most people don't understand "rss" because they aren't really sure what the word 'syndicated' means.
   
6. my ipod resembles that of a(n) 14-year old tweenie, nursing home resident, inner city youth, "so you wanna dance?" contestant, swede, sexually-confused emo punk, beatnik, yodeler, LA dj rockstar,
   
7. i think the 2nd toe on my right foot might soon be my first "runner's toe". the nail turns black and falls off.
   
8. toenails gross me out to no end. i think they are the creepiest part of the human body.
