Tom Wolfe (author of I Am Charlotte Simmons) is on Bill Maher right now. This guy is hysterical. And old. I knew he was 70-something, but there's something about knowing that in your mind and actually seeing it. Anyhoot, Bill Maher brought up the subject that President Bush was seen reading Tom Wolfe's 700-some page novel in February... and then again in May. While Maher was pondering whether that was the appropriate time period for such lengthy reading, Tom Wolfe answered that it was probably the best thing Bush could do for the country.
