1. Coke/Nestle is launching a negative-calorie drink, a one-up from Diet Coke really, called Enviga next month. "The brand uses a blend of green-tea extracts known for boosting metabolism called Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). The marketers boasted Enviga has twice the EGCG as leading competitors, no more caffeine than an average cup of coffee and 20% of the daily value of calcium for men and women ages 19 to 50... Enviga will launch in New York's five boroughs, along with New Jersey and Philadelphia on Nov. 6.... Sold in the tea aisle for about $1.29, the drink will be packaged in slim 12-ounce cans and will be available in berry, peach and green-tea flavors (a citrus flavor is also slated for some regional markets). It will be available in single-serve, six packs and 12-packs for the club channel.... The national launch is set for Feb. 5." What will they think of next? (source: AdAge)

2. In other delicious news, was visiting the Harry & David store the other day (quite possibly in my top 10 favorite places on earth - especially with their sampling goodness) and tried some of their Tortellini Soup. Heaven on earth, bought some of the mix and made it today. Yes, that's right, even I can make this soup. And it's amazing. Highly highly highly recommend. But I guess you can only buy it in stores. Hmmmm... The upside is that one little mix thing makes like 27 servings so my fridge is full of soup for the week.

3. Random thought: why is men's hair gel called 'product'? Where the heck did that come from? Everything is a product of something (ixnay on the arguing with me, math nerds) so how come hair gel holds the market corner on this naming?
