
1:04pm: scheduled delivery time
1:54pm: still no Chinese so I call. WTF, mate? Guy on the phone makes it quite clear they forgot my order or something like that so I tell them just to cancel the order and make a mental note never to order from there again.
3:03pm: Chinese food shows up at my Agency. Compliments of the restaurant with their apologies. They got my order right and it's warm.
Suddenly, I'm not going to tell 10 of my friends about my bad experience. Instead I'll tell 12 of my friends about a relatively good experience. The food was late, yes. But it was free. And yummy. And best yet, unexpected.
And my extra full tummy will remind me of this delicious surprise all day long.
